Position Overview:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate on game development, esports league management, and tournament planning. Interns will work alongside industry professionals to maintain, enhance, and develop new ideas for games and esports events. You’ll play a key role in content creation, broadcasting, and managing competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Development & Conceptualization:
- Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to develop new game mechanics and features.
- Assist with the refinement of existing game ideas and contribute to game testing.
- Provide feedback on game development to enhance the player experience.
Esports League & Tournament Management:
- Help organize and manage esports leagues, tournaments, and special events.
- Work on scheduling, team registrations, and rule creation for competitions.
- Assist in monitoring gameplay and results to ensure fair play and smooth operations.
Content Creation & Broadcasting:
- Contribute to streaming and producing live esports events and tournaments.
- Create blogs, social media posts, and newsletters featuring esports news and highlights.
- Interview players, coaches, and industry professionals to generate exclusive esports content.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Assist with developing promotional materials for tournaments and events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns to grow esports participation and viewership.
Qualifications:
- Passionate gamer with a strong interest in esports and game development.
- Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Game Design, or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
- Familiarity with popular esports titles (League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
