Job Hunt & Networking in High-Competition Industries

This TED Talk-style speech was given by Christopher Galbraith, a BYU-Idaho alum, at a “Power to Become” event on BYU-I campus. He talks through his process for building relationships and knowledge in the investment banking industry, which BYU-I did not have a huge presence in. This process led to him receiving multiple offers from the largest, most well-known firms in New York City. It is an excellent example of how to build relationships from the ground up and stand out in any career path, though it is especially helpful if you are trying to get into a field for which SVU may not be considered a typical feeder school.
