Tyler Orr
Career Services Director

First and foremost, I am a husband to a wonderful wife, a dad to three crazy little boys, and a man of faith! Those are my most important identities.
In addition, I am a connector and a career coach – I help people learn about themselves, find the right career and organizational fit, and knock the recruiting process out of the park. I specifically love doing this with students at SVU, where our conversations can often be incredibly holistic and include the impact of spirituality and religion on important decisions. My own educational and career paths have taken many turns (clinical psychology, sports psychology, technology, corporate HR, higher ed and career coaching), and relationship with the Lord has been critical in each one. I love how that can be a part of the equation here, when desired!
On top of coaching, at SVU I get to lead the Launch Center in building strategy and implementing better programs and resources to set students up for success. Please always feel free to share ideas or feedback to help us continually improve! We want to be as great a blessing as possible to our campus and students.
